This delightful little book asks the question "What If... All The Hippos Got Loose And Came to Live With Us?" and answers that very question with charming illustrations and rhyming words.

This book is such a beautiful colorful book with great easy rhyming for the little ones to follow along. I love all of the fun excitement happening on every page. The illustrator really did a great job with so many details. The different fonts with all of the colors just makes the page pop. My daughter loved following along and was pointing out all the different funny things the hippos were doing. She was saying, “the hippo coming inside” and “hippo broke the car”. I like the way the rhyming words are connected by the last word on each page from the previous page. It makes it easier to transfer from page to page while reading it. I like that it's more of a board book but that it's also longer than your typical one. This gave my daughter more pages to look at. The quality of this book really stands out and I’d be shocked if you didn’t see this book on bookstore shelves.
