The Squabble Sisters
by Debbie Min @Debbie Min A sweet and funny tale about the ups and downs of having a sibling! Family is everything, but how much can one big sister really take? Olive loves her big sister, Hazel, like no other, but every time she shows it, things get worse. The Squabble Sisters is a beautiful children's picture book that deals with siblinghood, sisterly love, and what it means to be family. Join Olive on her journey as she learns that sibling differences and bickering can never stand in the way of family bonds. This book was perfect for my son (6) and daughter (almost 3). They bicker all the time. The page where Hazel argues with mama about how her little sister's chores are too easy and it's not fair was just like hearing my son say his little sister gets to do everything. He cannot comprehend that a 2 year old is treated differently than a 6 year old. My son really liked the part where Olive made a jam sandwich for Hazel but put it in her math book to make it easy for her to find. He was laughing. Just seeing the girls chasing after each other really resonated with him saying, “hey that's what we do.” This was a very cute book and a great choice for anyone with siblings or 2 little kids that argue with each other. The ending is great with both of them getting along and really showing what sibling love is all about. Purchase on Amazon See more inside the book on Instagram
