There are so many people who help a community – doctors and nurses, bus drivers, social workers and carers, teachers, truck drivers, farmers, police officers, fire fighters…

People Who Help is a poem of thanks to those people who turn up every day to help us all.

This is a wonderful book that shows all the different jobs people do in our community. You will see your more popular; doctors, nurses, police, and firefighters. But you will also get to introduce your kids to some unfamiliar helpful jobs like carers, supermarket workers, scientists, bus drivers, and farmers. The book is written in lovely rhymes that are always fun for the kids to read along with. It helps make my kids more aware of all the different jobs that people have and how they can be helpful. When we went shopping together, we tried to point out different jobs people have and what they do for us.
