When Nabe, the little monkey, wanders into the jungle in search of a friend, he is only thinking of all the fun he will have. But when hide and seek, leaping from trees, diving into the lake and the promise of endless adventures he has found with his new friend take him far, far away from home, what is he to do?

This was such a cute story. The illustrations are unbelievable too. As you go through the book, you think you are watching an episode of a kids TV show. The little monkey is lots of fun for the kids as he goes off on one adventure after another. The Nabe and his friend swing through the jungle vines. Then they see a lake nearby from on top of a tall tree. Nabe is thirsty so they head over to it. While they were swimming and splashing on the lake, a kind monster named Moni joined them. Moni is concerned that the little monkeys are too far from home. They continue to splash and play and slide down rocks. Nabe has a nasty accident with a thorn bush. Read the book to find out what happens to Nabe and Moni.

Just an overall great story that is very entertaining. My kids enjoyed it and kept wanting to see what came next. The illustrations are top notch. The book isn’t too long or too short. It's just right. If your child needs lots of colorful illustrations and a good story to get through a book, this one is sure to do that.
