The illustrations were amazing. Very bright and colorful. The story is very easy to read and not long, so it will be a nice read for bedtime. Lilly is a dreamer. She loves just laying in the field and  imagining what it would be like to see the world from above. One day, Lilly happens upon a balloonist who lands right by her. After asking for a ride and not being allowed to, Lilly sneaks into the balloon. While waiting, she falls asleep. She awakens to find herself floating up in the balloon. She gets to view tiny houses, the city, the ocean and even outer space! She meets some people along the way who give her a flower and a teapot. The ending was really great and made the whole story for me. It’s one of those, did it really happen situations. Lilly wakes up in the field where she had been daydreaming. Was it all a dream? There was no balloon. But how does she still have the teapot and flower with her?
