I was very excited to share this story with my children because Aruba happens to be a very special place for me. I had my honeymoon here. It truly is one of the greatest places on earth. 

The book is a nice easy read for young children. There aren’t many words and the images are fun to look at. We get to see Kayan pack his little suitcase to get ready for his trip. Then, he walks through the airport with his suitcase and gets to look out the window on the plane. He lands in Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. Kayan plays on the beach, sees a lighthouse, and goes for a walk in the national park. He takes a dive underwater to see rays, turtles and lobsters. And when the day is over, Kayan is very hungry. Luckily there are lots of places to get food from. If you enjoy Aruba or a quick bedtime story, this book is perfect for you.
