A is for apple
A kɛɛ aplo
I did not know anything about the Ga language or culture before this book. My son thought it was very interesting to see how different another language can look. He would spend a bunch of time trying to figure out the pronunciation and even asking Google for how to say different things. The illustrations are very well done and engaging. All the imagery portrays something from the Ga culture. This is a great book for English or Ga speaking children. I could definitely see this in classrooms.
