Frogs: Weird and Wonderful
by Leah Ingledew This was a really fun and informative book for those that love frogs. It reminds me of ZooBooks when I was a kid. The illustrations are really great at helping show all of the facts. In the book you will learn about the Goliath Frog which can be as large as a cat. And a tiny frog from Madagascar that is only as big as your fingernail. There are illustrations of how frogs eat and my son's favorite page, they show how a frog can vomit its stomach in order to clean it out with its legs and then suck it back in. You will learn about the lifecycle of the frog and also what the differences are between frogs and toads. Learn about poisonous frogs, where frogs live, how they hibernate. The book Includes a printable frog with folding instructions to make your own paper frog, or even an army of paper frogs! Overall, I thought this was a very well done book. From the great colorful illustrations to the amazing fun facts this book just checks every box on what it offers. If you have a child that loves books about little critters, they will love this book.
