The story is about a huge dragon with red scales who loves to fly high in the sky. One day, she spots a wizard on top of a mountain and decides to check him out. The wizard was saying strange words that the dragon had never heard before. The dragon tries to get the wizard's attention to talk to him. But the wizard continued his words. Over and over the dragon tries to get the attention of the wizard. That’s when the wizard finally has enough. Read the story to find out the funny ending.
I really liked this book. I found myself smirking the entire time I was reading it to my son. The dragon is a perfect representation of a child who demands to be heard. This is a frequent occurrence in our home as well, with my son getting louder and louder and screaming until someone will talk back to him. I loved the simplicity of the story and the humor that all parents can relate to. The ending was perfect as I have felt like sometimes I want to explode when my kid won’t stop.
