I like the new take on this story. Rather than there being one tooth fairy, there are many tooth fairies and they are assigned to watch over a specific family. In this story, Sam is a not so good tooth fairy. She isn’t like her siblings and doesn’t take the job seriously. She doesn’t always check the magic dust to see if someone in her family has lost a tooth. Eventually the family has had enough and fires Sam. Sam is now feeling bad that she doesn’t have a family to look over. Eventually she gets assigned to a new family and learns an important lesson and now takes the job seriously. My son and I both really liked this style of illustrations. They are actually photographs of characters made out of craft materials.
