Children's Book Review - The Tale of the Trollgre

This is my son's new favorite book that we just read tonight. The story is so fun and the illustrations are great. The story starts with a boy on his way home when a monster called a trollgre (half troll, half ogre) starts chasing him. While he is running away, he meets new friends along the way, a centaur, a leprechaun, and a goblin. It was really engaging as my son kept wanting to see what happened next. The story ends great with you finding out that it is actually a bedtime story of the boy being told by the father. The story has a real classic feel to it. Kind of like the Gruffalo but with its own unique twist. The illustrations are amazing. There's lots of color and details and just really cool to look at. My son kept making me stop reading so that he could look at the pictures.
