Lou provides his new friend with some helpful advice on how to avoid the discomforts of eating too much candy.

I LOVED this book. It was so perfect. It's short, sweet, and super funny. The rhyming was very well done and makes the story that much better. The story is about a boy who is having a snack of candy. Then something starts happening in his belly. He runs to the bathroom to avoid a mishap in his pants. “With a grunt and a shout, what was hurting my tummy, had made it’s way out.” When the boy looks in the toilet he finds Lou the poo. Lou apologizes to the boy for causing him pain and teaches him not to eat so much candy again. After The lesson, Lou says it’s time for him to go. The boy feels sad to see his new friend leave. But he remembers what he taught him and avoids future discomfort.  My son and I laughed at seeing the poo. It reminds me of Mr. Hankey from South Park. This book was very fun and easy to read. Was a true joy for my son and we read it multiple times in a row. The illustrations were perfect for this toilet humor book. I really thought the final illustration with the boy as an old man reading the book, Lou the Poo was the cherry on top. It just made me laugh. I wouldn’t change anything about this book.
