To her horror, Laurel discovers that Astrid is jealous of her superpowers, and has teamed up with the witch to weaken Laurel’s powers. Now, Laurel must convince Astrid to abandon her evil ways and return to goodness — before the witch and Astrid shed harm onto the kingdom.

This fairy tale story will enliven the imagination of children with a little witchy fun in between. The story teaches children about what makes us unique, appreciating your special characteristics, and doing what you love.

This was a little longer book than we are used to but my son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a young readers book geared towards 6-12 year olds. But I would say it's closer to 6 or 7. My son who just turned 6 was able to read the whole thing to me no problem. This was a great fairytale type of story with lots of interesting characters your kids are sure to love. It has everything you are looking for, from princesses, to princes, to witches, and...  a pink bunny rabbit! Lol. There's even a spooky dark forest. This book was filled with great imagination and was written beautifully. This is one we will surely read again.
