Geno Goat Loves to Gloat: Learn to FLOAT with HUMILITY
by Stacy Shaneyfelt Do you need a clever, cute, and catchy book to teach valuable life lessons? Does your parenting, educating, counseling, coaching, or reading role feel like a “funny farm?” Are your kids or tweens struggling with mood swings, sharing toys, supplies and food, or selfishness? Well, join Geno, our grumpy goat in Greece, as this silly billy transforms from moody and mean to empathetic, compassionate, and caring. Written with adorable rhymes and illustrated gorgeously, this interactive book enables kids to cognitively, creatively, socioemotionally, and morally hit the hay for naps, story hours, or bedtimes with smiles and strategies for gaining gratitude and humility. Put on your farm boots and gallop with Hector Horse, Calleigh Cow, and Della Duck. Their messages are joyful, hilarious, and kid-friendly; for example, “Just be humble. When you chat with others, don’t brag or mumble!” Say sorry when you’re rude or make a mistake. With an attitude of gratitude, many friends you’ll make!” This was a fun book with a great lesson for children. My son and I loved the illustrations and how grumpy Geno looked. This was a great way to teach my son about humility. I know there are times when my son acts like Geno and wants everything his way. It was nice to be able to show him some examples of thinking about other people and how your actions might not seem bad to you, but they affect other people negatively. The end of the book also comes with post-reading activities that are great for discussions. See more on Instagram Purchase on Amazon
