Children's Book Review - Bubble Kye

The Tions from planet Tionion arrived on earth to experience life on earth.  The Tions are Jade, Kye, Indii, Joon, Lara, and Ashi. They hear a scream. As they race towards Kye’s sleeping pod they discover he has fallen asleep while chewing gum and now it is in his hair. They learn about how bubblegum is sticky and how saliva helps it not stick in your mouth. Eventually they have to cut it out of Kye’s hair, leaving a nice little bald spot. The team is happy to help Kye and then they all chew the gum and blow huge bubbles. Kye blew and blew and blew until it popped in his face and hair! 
This was a really cute book and I loved how cool the illustrations looked. They looked like comic book style illustrations. My son and I liked the idea of the team of aliens coming to earth to experience everything. They even show you what the aliens really look like since they are just in human bodies while on their visit. My son and I laughed at the part where Indii has the idea to spit in Kye’s hair to get it out.
