The first book in the Bab the Rabbit series takes our favourite rabbit on a magical mermaid adventure. When Bab finds a chatty sea cucumber named Pat on the beach one day he can’t resist taking a bite. Stars appear before his eyes and suddenly he feels very sleepy. Bab wakes to find himself deep in the ocean and sporting a very fancy new tail! As he swims and plays he meets a host of new underwater friends. But before long, Bab starts to miss home. His new friends must help him find the way. Filled with quirky characters and enchanting illustrations, Bab’s Mermaid Adventure is written for children aged four to nine.

This was such a cute book. The colors and illustrations are awesome. The story is really fun and unique. I read this to my 5 and 2 year old. This is the type of book that you can really make special for the listeners with the way you read it. I had my kids drawn in and wanting to read more and more. We really enjoyed the characters and we all loved that little sea cucumber. There are plenty of cute characters your children will enjoy. My 2 year is obsessed with pointing out all the characters in books. In this one you will find a rabbit, sea cucumber, shark, sea lettuce, crab, fish, jellyfish, sea horse, sea turtle, and a clam.
