Two cousins spending the night in a tent in the dark backyard succeed in scaring each other, with a little help from brother Simon. My son and I LOVE this book. We are both very into scary types of children’s books. This one might be even a little too scary for some kids. There are awesome scary things the kids talk about in their story, garbage goblins, a flying cat creature, a tree creeper, and an invisible man. This is an older book from 1988 so you might be able to get it for cheap from an online store. I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy scary themes. ​
