This book reminds readers about the importance of family, through rhyme, while displaying diverse family dynamics portrayed through beautiful illustrations. The repetition was very nice for my almost 3 year old daughter to follow along. By the end of the book she was starting to repeat the words. The story reinforces the main theme over and over, “things in life may come and go, but family is forever.” And “there’s no place I’d rather be, than together with family.” This is a great choice for beginning readers. It has easy sentences throughout the book with lots of repetition. It’s overall lesson of love for the family makes it perfect for anyone. There are plenty of great illustrations on every page that will keep your children interested.
