When Anisha’s grandparents give her two magical necklaces on her birthday, a whole new world of learning opens before her. In a magical puff of smoke, Chloe transforms into a beautiful flying pony. She uses a very special camera; a camera tells Anisha interesting facts about the places and things she sees in return for each photo that she takes. I really enjoyed this story and the way it was laid out. Throughout the story there were questions written for me to read outloud to my son which helps keep him engaged the entire story as well as lets us have a fun dialogue. We got to see a little bit about what Bangladesh looks like and some of the things from there. There are some fun facts and some images at the very end of the book that help us learn about things from Bangladesh. The story was great. I love imaginative stories like this. Anisha gets a puppy for her birthday and two magic necklaces. One turns her pony from black and white to pink with blue spots and two wings. The other necklace when placed around Anisha’s neck made a bag appear around her shoulder. In it, was a water bottle that was always full, a lunchbox that never went empty, and a camera that added facts to whatever picture you took. Just really cool unique ideas for a story.
