This was a very cute story about a boy and his mother on their way to school. Jake’s mother really pushes him to live life to the fullest and always make each day an adventure. Jake knew that each time he walked through those school doors, there would be an adventure waiting for him. Once through the doors, Jake takes us into a small airport with a small plane. He notices he is in a one-piece coverall suit. He meets the pilot, Ashley, who tells him he will be skydiving today. Jake gets to ask all kinds of questions like who invented skydiving? Who was the first skydiver? What was the first parachute made of? Jake spent hours learning about the parachute, the pull cord, the helmet, and the proper way to land. Once up in the air, Jake got scared and didn’t know if he could do it. With some encouraging words from Ashley, Jake leaped out of the plane and began falling. Jake’s adventure was over once his feet hit the ground and it was time to go home. He thanked Ashely for the lesson and great adventure. As he pushed the door open to leave he walked out of his school.  Jake told his mom all about his amazing adventure and learning about skydiving. He showed her his toilet paper roll parachute craft that he made. 
I really love books with imagination like this one. I tell my kids all the time to imagine anything you want in life. I love how Jake’s imagination takes us on a wonderful adventure and then poof, he leaves school and it's over. I used to always daydream about things the same way. The mother is an important character too. She reminds us that as parents we need to be supportive and push our children to dream big.
