A Chance to Camp!
by Kathy Wilson The bears are back in town with the 7th book in the series. The bears are all checking out the new shell that mom had found, well actually mom’s aunt. The shell’s name is Misty Rose. The bears spotted a tent on the laundry line. The kids had a campout the previous night with marshmallows, stories and songs. The bears thought how fun that would be. But Ginger was afraid of the dark, so they had a daytime campout. After a snack of popcorn from mom and some roasted marshmallows, Cinnamon began her story, a Beary-Tale! The story is about a conch shell named Misty Rose, 2 starfish named Ava and Kayla, and an exotic pink vase named Flora. Misty was sad because she wanted to go back home to the beach. Flora said she could help and knew 2 Beary-Princesses. Misty, Ava, and Kayla end up getting magically whisked away to the beach. The bears love the story and fall asleep. When they awaken, they are eager to see Misty Rose. But what's this? Where Misty, Ava and Kayla once were was now a pile of pink beary petals. The story had come true. My son thoroughly enjoyed this book. He kept saying he loved the pictures of everything. He loved the puns such as a Beary-Tale. There was so much to look at. I always enjoy seeing the lifelike actions of the bears like sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows or sitting on a toilet seat. It makes them feel so real. It looks like the author was able to add in some grandkids this time around. If you haven’t read the Chance books yet, I highly recommend it. Once you get reading one, you will start to really get connected to the characters and want to read more. Purchase on Amazon See more inside the book on Instagram
