It's Thanksgiving Day so Chance, Ginger, Cinnamon and Sugar venture outside to ask all their friends what they are thankful for. Along the way, they learn many different ways to be thankful and discover a very special pumpkin patch!
This is book 5 in the awesome series by Kathy Wilson. I love reading these books and my kids always love seeing the stuffed animals. Ginger is asleep and the other bears look on as his nose twitches. He wakes up to smelling the Thanksgiving turkey. Ginger knows he can’t be around the amazing smells all day so the bears head out to talk with all of their friends outside and see what they are thankful for. The stuffed animals are so cute and they each have such unique personalities that fit each one perfectly. It's nice to read books about thanks so that I can get my kids to start thinking about things they’re truly thankful for. One warning, there are real photos of a thanksgiving dinner. It will make you hungry. My tummy is grumbling right now. This is a perfect book for kids at this time of year (Thanksgiving). Enjoy the unique illustrations with the stuffed animals. I always say after you read it, try to get your kids to use their stuffed animals to make a story of their own.
