Submission Guidelines

To keep things running smoothly, please follow these guidelines:
  • Books should be children’s picture books (generally 20–40 pages with illustrations)
  • Ideal age range is 3–7 years old
  • Please send a compressed PDF version of your book
  • Avoid sending files marked as “PROOF”, as these don’t display well in reviews
While I accept a wide range of topics, I do not accept books that promote hate or discrimination.

A Quick Note Before You Submit

You don’t need to send a full media kit, long pitch, or a lot of extra information.
Honestly, the simpler the better.
Just send:
  • your book (PDF)
  • a short note
That’s it.

How the Process Works

  1. Email to request a review
  2. Submit your book (PDF preferred)
  3. Review is written within a few days
  4. You receive a draft to review and approve
  5. Final review is published and shared
The draft step is important. If there’s something specific you want included or adjusted, I’m happy to work with you before anything goes live.

What Happens After Your Review

Once your review is published:
  • It will be live on the site
  • Shared on Instagram (and Facebook)
  • Posted to Goodreads (if your book is listed)
Many authors use these reviews for:
  • marketing materials
  • social proof
  • promoting their book launch
